About Me: Hi! I am Mama Elephant and I am both a college student and SAHM to a mischievous teenage son, who happens to have Autism, and an infant daughter. It is a practice in time management. Raising a child with special needs presents challenges disguised as impossibilities as well as rewards beyond the imagination and I write about both.

Favorite Shows: Dexter, Ghost Whisperer, Bones, Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Colbert Report, Eureka, and a few others.
Favorite Channels: History Channel, A&E
Favorite Reruns: X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, City Confidential, Cold Case Files (the non-fiction series)
Most Addictive Show: I wouldn't wacht it if it weren't addictive.
Favorite Late Night Talk Show: Daily Show and Colbert Report
Favorite Episode: When Buffy kills the love of her life to save the world.
Characters you relate to: None I guess since they are fiction and I am real.

Places I love: New York City and Disney World
Places I've been: NYC, San Fran, L.A., Cambria, Pismo Beach, and Solvang CA, Lake Cumberland KY, St.Augustine, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and Orlando FL, Va Bch, Washinton DC, Gettysburg, Chicao, and some other places I can't quite recall at the moment.
Places to see before I die: Everywhere! Especially Venice, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Amsterdam and as many roller coaster theme parks as I possibly can.
Dream Vacation: Anywhere with my family.

Where I shop: Lane Bryant, Coach Outlet, and Target
Brands I love: The Brands on the Clearance Rack at the stores I love.
I like to wear: Comfortable, classy clothes. Dark Denim and a dressy shirt. I shy away from trends and go for outfits that will stay in style.
Can't live without: Clothes that fit properly...not too tight, not too loose. My handbags. I have all sorts from all sorts of designers and I love them all.
Prized Possessions: Doesn't the above category cover this? Redunant much?
Guilty Pleasure: Coach handbags, but I only shop off the Clearance shelves and even then, there has to be an extra percentage off for me to afford anything.

Favorite Movies: The Godfather (I and II), Full Metal Jacket, The Exorcist
Favorite Genre: Freaky Religious movies such as The Exorcist, Constantine, Stigmata, Ninth Gate, The Order. When I take my meds, I enjoy Ghost and supernatural themed horror movies.

Actor that would play me in a movie: Either Janeane Garofalo or Gillian Anderson.

Favorite Books: Nobody Nowhere and Somebody Somewhere by Donna Williams

Favorite Cuisine: Tex-Mex, Mexican, Seafood (shell fish, in particular)

Favorite Desserts: Mom's pina colada cake and lucky charms

Favorite Junk Foods: Chips and Salsa (although salsa isn't really junk food since it has established health benefits and is largely veggies)
